Oliver Sun, a Boston, Massachusetts based artist, began to study oil painting in 2001.  He uses oil paint and charcoal to create portraits as a way to explore his fascination with individuality, emotion and one's relationship with the world.  Oliver experiments with brush strokes and color combination to express the feeling he wishes to convey about his subjects.  His work has been shown at several group exhibits and two solo exhibits in Massachusetts.  He is a member of the Cape Cod Art Association and the Provincetown Art Association, and aspires to be a full-time artist.
